Position Overview:
Avolta is seeking a motivated and analytical Intelligence and Threat Analysis Student Intern to join our team as part of a co-op program. This internship is designed for students who are passionate about intelligence and threat analysis and are looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting. As an intern, you will work closely with our intelligence team to support threat assessment, risk analysis, and intelligence gathering. Please note that this is a pro bono opportunity, ideal for students seeking to gain valuable experience and co-op credit while contributing to impactful work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in identifying and analyzing potential security threats.
• Collaborate with team members to conduct risk assessments and intelligence gathering.
• Participate in research and analysis of emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
• Contribute to the documentation and presentation of intelligence and threat analysis findings and results.
• Support the team in developing threat mitigation strategies.
• Participate in team meetings and discussions to share ideas and insights.
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in all tasks and interactions.

Required Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Intelligence Studies, Security Studies, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of threat analysis methodologies and intelligence frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• High level of responsibility, maturity, and a willingness to learn.
• Must be eligible to receive co-op credit through your academic institution.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with intelligence tools and platforms (e.g., threat intelligence software).
• Interest in the technology, security, or automotive industries.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
