Position Overview:
Avolta is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development and Sales Student Intern to join our team as part of a co-op program. This internship is designed for students who are passionate about business development, sales, and market expansion and are looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting. As an intern, you will work closely with our business development and sales team to support client outreach, market research, and sales strategies. Please note that this is a pro bono opportunity, ideal for students seeking to gain valuable experience and co-op credit while contributing to impactful work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the security industry.
  • Collaborate with team members to conduct market research and analyze industry trends.
  • Participate in client outreach and relationship-building activities.
  • Contribute to the documentation and presentation of business development and sales findings and results.
  • Support the team in developing proposals and presentations for potential clients.
  • Participate in team meetings and discussions to share ideas and insights.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in all tasks and interactions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of business development and sales principles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • High level of responsibility, maturity, and a willingness to learn.
  • Must be eligible to receive co-op credit through your academic institution.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales analytics platforms.
  • Interest in the technology, security, or automotive industries.
  • Knowledge of market research and analysis techniques.
