Content Creation Advisor

PART A. General Description

The Content Creation Department is responsible for the creation of all media material which will be used by Avolta. This includes but is not limited to posters, videos, images, logo design, visuals, podcasts, website posts, newsletters, merchandise, etc.

PART B. Responsibilities

As a Content Creation Company Advisor:

  • Content Strategy Development: Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to develop and refine the company’s content strategy, including defining target audience personas, content goals, and messaging themes.
  • Content Ideation and Planning: Provide guidance and support in generating creative ideas and concepts for content creation, including blog posts, articles, social media posts, videos, infographics, and other multimedia content.
  • Content Creation Guidelines: Develop and communicate content creation guidelines and best practices to ensure consistency, quality, and brand alignment across all content channels and platforms.
  • Content Creation Oversight: Offer feedback and guidance to content creators, including writers, designers, videographers, and editors, to ensure content meets quality standards and resonates with the target audience.
  • SEO and Keyword Optimization: Advise on incorporating search engine optimization (SEO) principles and keyword strategies into content creation efforts to improve visibility and ranking in search engine results pages (SERPs).
  • Content Distribution Strategy: Assist in developing a distribution strategy for content across various channels and platforms, including websites, social media, email newsletters, and third-party publications, to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Content Performance Analysis: Analyze content performance metrics, such as website traffic, engagement rates, and conversion metrics, using analytics tools to evaluate the effectiveness of content initiatives and inform future content strategies.
  • Content Calendar Management: Help in maintaining a content calendar to plan and schedule content creation and publication dates, ensuring a consistent and timely flow of content to engage and nurture the audience.
  • Visual Content Creation: Provide guidance on creating visual content assets, such as graphics, images, and videos, to complement written content and enhance visual appeal and engagement.
  • Content Collaboration and Coordination: Facilitate collaboration among content creators, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to gather input, insights, and feedback for content creation projects.
  • Content Promotion and Amplification: Recommend strategies for promoting and amplifying content through paid advertising, influencer partnerships, and content syndication to increase visibility and reach a broader audience.
  • Content Trends and Industry Insights: Stay updated with the latest content marketing trends, industry insights, and best practices, and share relevant information and recommendations with the team to drive innovation and excellence in content creation efforts.
  • Continuous Learning and Development: Actively seek opportunities for professional development in content creation, including attending workshops, webinars, and industry conferences, to enhance skills and expertise in content strategy and execution.

The compensation for this role would be pro-bono (unpaid).
