Right now Canada is trying to get to the US quickly so change could possibly be made to a budget bill, as the US is planning to move forward with  Buy American plan within the automotive industry, threatening Canada’s automotive sector. The issue is, the U.S.A already has a myriad of problems and proposals to go through, and some they consider more urgent than what Canada needs.
