This nifty piece of tech is set to push EVs to a level that we have been hoping for, and the excitement for the battery is high. Why? This batter is cheaper to produce, has a greater energy capacity, it’s safer, it charges faster, this is the start! Greater energy capacity means that we can make lighter batteries, improving efficiency and letting us shove more batteries into the machine itself. Cheaper batteries make the pricing comparable to ICE vehicles and perhaps just as powerful too. It’s in its early stages, but this battery could be the starting point that the shipping industry needs, and maybe just what Formula 1 is looking for.
