Position Overview

Avolta is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA and Testing Advisor to join our team in a pro bono, advisory capacity. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about ensuring the quality and reliability of software and hardware solutions, who are looking to contribute their expertise to a mission-driven organization.

As an Advisor, your contributions will be advisory, consultative, and non-operational. You will provide high-level guidance on quality assurance strategies, testing methodologies, and risk identification. This is not an employment relationship and does not involve performing employee-type duties; instead, it is a thought-leadership role that complements Avolta’s existing team.

Key Advisory Contributions

• Provide strategic advice on testing methodologies, quality assurance processes, and defect resolution.

• Share insights on the latest trends and best practices in QA and testing.

• Participate in high-level discussions to shape Avolta’s QA and testing strategies.

• Offer independent perspectives on the effectiveness of testing processes and assurance measures.

• Mentor and guide Avolta’s QA and technical leadership.

• Communicate complex QA concepts to internal stakeholders in a clear and impactful manner.

• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in all advisory activities.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in quality assurance, software testing, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, defect tracking, and quality assurance frameworks.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.

• High level of responsibility, maturity, and a commitment to Avolta’s mission.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the technology, security, or automotive industries.

• Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit).

• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
