HR/Recruitment Advisor

PART A. General Description

The Human Resources Department is at the heart of Avolta’s people management system. Primary responsibilities include talent search and recruitment, creation and modification of company policies, maintenance of employee records, execution of disciplinary actions and/or hearings, maintaining health and wellness, organizing company events and exhibitions and showcases, as well as coordinating Avolta’s operations to maximize efficiency & performance. 

PART B. Responsibilities

As an HR/Recruitment Company Advisor:

  • Recruitment Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior management to develop and refine the company’s recruitment strategy, including sourcing channels, candidate assessment methods, and employer branding initiatives.
  • Talent Sourcing and Acquisition: Utilize various recruitment channels, such as job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals, to attract and identify qualified candidates for open positions within the company.
  • Candidate Screening and Evaluation: Conduct initial screening and assessment of candidate resumes, applications, and portfolios to identify individuals who meet the qualifications and requirements for specific roles, coordinating interviews and evaluations as needed.
  • Interview Coordination: Assist in scheduling and coordinating interviews between candidates and hiring managers, providing logistical support and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Candidate Feedback and Communication: Provide timely feedback and communication to candidates regarding their application status, interview outcomes, and next steps in the recruitment process, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
  • Documentation and Record-keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate information, interview feedback, and recruitment activities using appropriate systems or tools, ensuring compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.
  • Onboarding Support: Assist in coordinating the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork completion, orientation sessions, and introduction to company policies, culture, and practices, to facilitate a smooth transition into their roles.
  • Employment Branding and Promotion: Support efforts to enhance the company’s employment brand and reputation as an employer of choice, including participating in employer branding initiatives, attending career fairs, and engaging with potential candidates on social media platforms.
  • HR Policy Guidance: Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices, addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Talent Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for future job openings, cultivating relationships with passive candidates and networking contacts to proactively source talent and fill critical roles as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the recruitment and HR function, proposing solutions and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in talent acquisition and management.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in recruitment and HR management, and actively seek opportunities for professional development to enhance skills and expertise in the role.

The compensation for this role would be pro-bono (unpaid).
