As a dynamic and fast-growing company, we are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Expert to join our team on a contract basis and contribute to the development of our flagship security system, Avolta AutoGuard (AAG).

Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Machine Learning Expert with a strong background in computer vision and deep learning. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced machine learning models to enhance our automotive security solutions. This is a unique opportunity to apply cutting-edge techniques in real-world applications with direct business impact. You will work closely with our research and development team to deliver innovative solutions to complex challenges in the field of vehicle security.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of machine learning models, particularly in image analysis and computer vision applications, to enhance our vehicle security systems.
  • Analyze large-scale image data, perform preprocessing, and apply advanced techniques such as convolutional neural networks (CNNs) to extract actionable insights for security applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning models into our existing software architecture, ensuring seamless functionality in real-time environments.
  • Fine-tune, optimize, and scale existing machine learning models for improved performance and accuracy in real-world applications.
  • Explore and evaluate new methodologies and approaches to keep our solutions at the cutting edge of machine learning and computer vision advancements.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members and interns working on related projects.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation, including project plans, technical reports, and presentations, to communicate progress and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in deep learning, computer vision, and security technologies, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve our systems.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in machine learning, with a strong focus on deep learning and computer vision.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python and extensive experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV).
  • Expertise in designing, training, and optimizing deep learning models, especially CNNs, for image processing and computer vision tasks.
  • Familiarity with real-time data processing, edge computing, and model deployment in production environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Experience in developing end-to-end machine learning pipelines, from data collection and preprocessing to model deployment and evaluation.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in security applications or automotive technologies is a plus.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field is required; PhD preferred.
