It wasn’t too long ago that we talked about F1’s efforts to find a green alternative to fossil fuels that kept the adrenaline-pumping power without utterly destroying the planet, and it seems that this avenue is getting some more work put into it. At least we hope so because if hydrogen doesn’t turn out to be the renewable energy source we hope it can be then its utilization will still have a heavy carbon print. That’s not even to mention that EVs have a much bigger lead in terms of time and funding put into it, and with the recent advancements of solid-state batteries, it’s a tough sell. We’ll just have to see how this goes.
