Sometimes I feel like we forget how far we’ve actually come with automotive technology.

I still remember when neighbors had windows that you had to wind up or down, and how much of a shock it was when they were replaced with buttons. We had to make our own playlists by burning songs onto CDs for the road, and maybe we even had a cassette or two of someone reading a story out to us. It’s kind of crazy that we’ve managed to lower emissions from our cars, gave our cars eyes so that they can help us avoid accidents, and even implemented AR dashboards to help keep our eyes on the road.
